Hi everyone!

Thanks again for your support with the Dan’s Chocolates fundraiser. Tomorrow at assembly we will be giving out the money rewards to the children who won them. We will also have all the specific info on how well the fundraiser went!

Upcoming events:

Scholastic Book Fair November 5-9 –Volunteers needed!

Ms. Neil is seeking volunteers to help out with the cash register, setting up the displays, taking down the displays, keeping the displays orderly and the carts replenished along with aiding in book selection with the students who need this support. If you are able to help with this, please contact Kathy Neil at kneil

Coat Swap began October 22

The Edmunds Elementary annual coat swap is kicked off on October 22nd. There are rolling racks in the front lobby where you can bring clean, used coats, snow pants, and winter-wear like hats, scarves, and gloves. Please bring your coats on the hangers, if possible. All donations are greatly appreciated by the EES community.

Remember, you do not have to donate in order to be the recipient of a cozy, warm coat and accessories!

And finally….

We are excited to announce that the Edmunds Elementary School Play this year will be Mulan! There will be lots of fantastic parts and we hope to see many of 3rd-5th graders participate as well as 1st & 2nd graders sign up for the play chorus! Rehearsals will start in January and the play will be on March 15th &16th. To help with the cost of the play we are doing a fundraiser with Danforth Pewter’s beautiful ornaments and zipper pulls, all made by hand in Middlebury! The forms should be coming home today 🙂 Please return them to the front office or to your kid’s teacher by November 12th. Checks should be made to EES PTO Drama. You will receive your products by the end of November.

Thank you for supporting this 20-year-old tradition at Edmunds Elementary school!

Dan’s Chocolates–We’re almost there!!

October 19, 2018

Hi everyone!

The final order forms have been tracked down, the order has been placed, the money is collected. Now all there is left to do is put the orders together for the students, deliver them to their classrooms and let them bring the chocolates to all the nice people who ordered from them!

We will be gathering in the Music room on the first floor on Wednesday, October 24 after school to set up our assembly line. This is a "many hands make light work" situation, and with enough people, we can usually get through the orders in about an hour. Please check out the signup genius link below and let us know if you can help.

Dan’s Chocolates reminder and thank you

October 14, 2018

Thank you to all of the students who handed in their orders on Friday for our Dan’s Chocolate Fundraiser.
If your student forgot to hand in their order form and envelope of money on Friday, please send them in tomorrow. We’d like to get the order place as soon as possible to get everyone their chocolate in time for Halloween.

It is very helpful to our volunteers if you double check the order before sending it in. We also always appreciate if you take the time to enter the order online(see the link below).

If you have any questions, please let Jenny Sullivan know at wonderjennyvt.

Thank you for your support.

Hello everyone!

A big thank you to those of you who came to our first PTO meeting of the year last week. Dr. Mathias led the group in a restorative circle and we discussed upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

Please be sure to have your child being in their order forms and envelopes this Friday so that we can place our order for chocolates. These should be delivered to your child at school in approximately two weeks.

Edmunds Elementary Coat Swap begins October 22

As the weather turns colder and we assess our families’ winter coat situation, please remember Edmunds Elementary annual coat swap. Clean, used coats and winter wear that you can pass down to a friend in the Edmunds community will be greatly appreciated. These can be brought to the main lobby. Also, remember, you don’t have to give to get!
