Mayfair

The Mayfair Spring Carnival is the PTO’s largest fundraiser and an Edmunds Elementary School tradition! Dollars raised during the Mayfair fund enrichment activities, such as art, language and dance programs, that would otherwise be unavailable to Edmunds kids. Funding is also given to teachers to provide basic but essential classroom supplies.

Mayfair 2013 has been scheduled for Friday, May 17, 2013.  This one of our student’s favorite events and requires many volunteers.  We will need around 70 volunteers to pull this off!  What a great way to meet EES families.
I remember one year me and a bunch of friends won three cakes!

THE GREAT MAYFAIR SIGN UP HAS BEGUN!
It takes a whole lot of volunteers to make Mayfair memories.  We need folks to run games, paint faces, sell tickets and food, run the basket raffle, donate cakes and other foods, and so much more! There is something for everyone.

Check out volunteer opportunities and sign up at: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/30E0E48A5AC2BA31-mayfair1. Enter the access code “ees2013” when prompted.  Alternatively, you may contact Pam Shea at pj_shea@yahoo.com or 861-2720. Thanks for your help!

Last year, my young neighbor, George, was at the Mayfair.  I was running a game and he was the only one to get all the bean bags in. He was so proud, he went around and told everyone. He is now a Kindergartener here at Edmunds.

“Mayfair is a long-standing tradition. My favorite Mayfair memory is of when I was 9. I remember eating a mess of brownies from the bake sale then doing flips in the bouncy castle with my friends…over and over…and over.  What fun!”  -Pam, EES parent, (Student at Mayfair 1975)

Mayfair Memories.   What are Yours?

PARENTS, YOU CAN HELP CREATE LASTING MAYFAIR MEMORIES FOR YOUR KIDS.

Right now, in order to move forward, we need co-chairs for the Mayfair Silent Auction and for Food/Drinks.  We can provide you with everything you need to get started and will also coordinate your staffing for the day of the event (Friday, May 17).

For more information, contact Pam Shea (pj_shea@yahoo.com, 861-2720) or Courtney Asaro (courtneyasaro@gmail.com).
